Tara Nicole Hughes is a creative force. She has collaborated as a Choreographer on iconic musical films including Joker: Folie a’ Deux, Disney’s live action The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins Returns, Nine and Burlesque.

As a movement director, Tara has the unique ability to help actors connect their inner emotional life to the outer expression of movement. As a result, she’s worked with some of the most brilliant of our time including Daniel Day Lewis, Joaquin Phoenix, Keanu Reeves, Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt as well as with music stars Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.

Other Choreographic credits include, for television, Good Girls Revolt, House of Lies, The Middle, Trophy Wife, Raising Hope and My Name is Earl. Feature films include Kiss of the Spider Woman (Dir. Bill Condon), Good Fortune (Dir. Aziz Ansari), Danny Collins starring Al Pacino (Dir. Dan Fogelman), The Terminal (Dir. Steven Spielberg) and The Next Best Thing (Dir. John Schlesinger).

With Tara’s Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology and her understanding of the healing power of dance, she has created the program INsideOUT, a powerful and practical workshop using meditation, visualization and dance movement to bring more inner peace and well-being.
